Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, on Sunday received the UAE flag from Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, at Union House in Jumeirah, in line with the Flag Procession Initiative, in which the UAE flag tours the seven Emirates.
Shaikh Hamdan, along with Mohammed Ahmed Al Murr, Speaker of Federal National Council (FNC), Abdul Rahman bin Mohammed Al Owais, Minister of Health, Shaikh Saeed bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, and a number of senior dignitaries, received the Flag Procession which had travelled from Sharjah, led by the Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.
The procession initiative set off originally from Fujairah, with the objective of touring the seven emirates in seven days. The procession will reach the Capital, Abu Dhabi, today, where it will be received by Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Force, at a special ceremony on the Abu Dhabi Breakwater in the presence of the Crown Princes of all the Emirates.
