The Jordanian national’s fortune jumps by Dh2 million

Here is the UAE’s latest millionaire, and it’s a woman.

Zaina NS, a Jordanian national and resident of Sharjah, is the latest millionaire of UAE winning Dh2 million mega prize of National Bonds.

“I have always dreamt of this moment. I am so overwhelmed that I cannot express my happiness. Today, for the first time I am confident that my life will take the course I hoped for. I extend my sincere thanks to National Bonds, which has made this possible.

“I certainly hope that all bondholders in the scheme also win due to the unique value offering of National Bonds and I urge them to save regularly,” Zaina said.

Mohammed Qasim Al Ali, CEO of National Bonds Corporation, said: “Since establishing the scheme, we have pledged to offer the best returns to subscribers of our bonds. We are pleased to have once again delivered on our promise through our grand prize of Dh2 million.

“Our weekly and monthly incentive program seeks to promote the culture of saving among the UAE society. We hope the awards keep motivating our customers and the wider public to maintain a savings plan that will ultimately help them build a better future.”

The draw, hosted in Sharjah, also awarded 10 Toyota Camry cars to lucky bondholders including Abid Husain A Shakir, Zainab Ahmad Al Emadi, Khaled Abdulla S Al Dhanhani, Nours Hazzaa Al Shamsi, and Ahlam Al Ameri.

The campaign saw a majority of the prize-winners comprising of women with six out of the 10 Toyota Camry cars awarded to Emirati female bondholders. National Bonds has recently witnessed a remarkable increase in the number of women subscribers, averaging 32% of the overall subscriber base.

Since the company’s inception, 120 savers have each received the Dh1-million single award from the scheme. National Bonds has also given away 1.8 million prizes to date, amounting to more than Dh350 million. The company has also awarded 632,228 prizes to female bondholders , totaling Dh130-million.

National Bonds hosts a monthly draw awarding a prize of Dh1 million, in addition to giving away weekly monetary awards in smaller denominations to lucky bondholders.
