Shayem Al Anzi, a Saudi Imam (mosque preacher) died the minute after he started Azaan at his mosque in Saudi Arabia.
The Imam just sat on the chair and started azaan through the loudspeaker at the mosque in the Tabuk town when he unexpectedly dropped dead on the floor.
“He had always wished to die at the mosque…God the Almighty fulfilled his wish,” said the Arabic language daily ‘Sabq’.
Azaan is the Muslim call to ritual prayer made by a muezzin from the minaret of a mosque.
