Tulu Koota Kuwait delegates initiates a request to Air India Express to restore flight timings

Tulu Koota Kuwait, under the leadership of President, Mr. Ramesh S Bhandary met with Mr. Harjeet Sawhney, Country Manager of Air India Express Kuwait Station on Sunday, 30 December 2018 in order to initiate the request to restore original flight timings of Kuwait-Mangalore-Kuwait route.

Mr. Ramesh S Bhandary, President of TKK and Mr. Wilson D’Souza (Ex-President) held a long discussion with the Country Manager – Air India Kuwait on the AirIndia Express Flight Timings. Mr. Ramesh S Bhandary emphasized that the current flight timings are inconvenient for the working class people to travel in Air India Express as there is a waste of 2 working days and the passengers can utilize these days at work instead, if the earlier late night time schedules would be restored. He also submitted a Memorandum to restore the earlier flight timings of Air India Express in the Kuwait-Mangalore-Kuwait route and also requested for an additional flight for Thursday Night.

The memorandum was addressed to the Country Manager of Air India Express and copied to Mr. Suresh Prabhu, Minister of Aviation and Mr. Nalin Kumar Kateel, Member of Parliament – DK/Karnataka. It humbly requested the Air India Express Management to look into the timings of the Kuwait- Mangalore-Kuwait route, which now arrives at 11:00 am and departs at 12:15 pm.

The Memorandum submitted to the Air India Express official was presented on behalf of the Presidents and all members of the Coastal Karnataka Associations in Kuwait listed below:

The Country Manager of Air India Express Kuwait Station mentioned that the feedback from local Associations as well as aircraft users are very much important and he has promised that he will put sincere efforts on this and shall communicate the issue to the concerned authorities.

On behalf of all the Associations of Coastal Karnataka, Mr. Ramesh S Bhandary, thanked the Country Manager for his cooperation and support.

We hope and pray that the Air India Express officials earnestly look into the request and strategize the old flight schedules in order to benefit the large mass of people travelling by the Kuwait-Mangalore-Kuwait route.
