Mumbai: After his directorial debut with newcomers Armaan Jain and Deeksha Seth, Imtiaz Ali’s younger brother Arif is ready for his next project. According to media reports Ali is working on a musical saga titled ‘Sitaarey’.
Rumour has it that the film based on the lives of Bollywood’s yesteryear’s singers Mohmmed Rafi and Kishore Kumar. While the script of the film is in place, the casting is yet to be finalised. The director reportedly has Ranbir Kapoor and Varun Dhawan in mind for the role.
If all goes well the project is expected to go on floors in the beginning of 2016.
