Who would have thought that a funny youtube video will inspire a character in a Bollywood film. Salman Khan’s recent movie, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, which is breaking all the records at the Indian box office, has a character named Chand Nawab, which is inspired from a Pakistani journalist of the same name. A little search on youtube about Chand Nawab will take you to a viral video uploaded on 8th December, 2008, in which Nawab can be seen trying hard to deliver a piece to camera for a news channel. His funny style and people crossing the camera made it one of the funniest videos on social media.

Now, according to reports, Chand Nawab, who is excited about the entire episode, is expecting Salman Khan to pay him a compensation for using him as an inspiration in ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. “I am very thankful to Salman bhai, who considered my character worthy enough to be given a role in his movie.I am a poor journalist and don’t want to deal with the legalities, but I expect Khan to give me a compensation for using me as an inspiration for a character,” he told Gulf News.

“This movie could be a new beginning for my career,” Nawab added.
