Mumbai: Thousands of fans were left heartbroken after the news of Bollywood heartthrob Shahid Kapoor’s engagement to Delhi-based girl Mira Rajput spread like wildfire.
The couple met through the religious group Radha Soami Satsang Beas. Rumour has it that couple got engaged on January 14, Makar Sankranti. It was initially stated that the couple was to tie the knot in June, however that turned out to be false.
According to reports, the actor will be having a destination wedding most likely in Greece. The wedding will be preceded by a bachelor’s party in Greece. The wedding will be attended by some of the biggest names in the industry including Vishal Bhardwaj, Madhu Mantena, Vikas Bahl.
According to reports, the wedding will be a four-day affair. Interestingly, Shahid will be seen in Vikas Bahl’s ‘Shaandar’ which will see him as a groom and his co-star Alia Bhatt will be seen playing his bride. The couple decides to have a destination wedding in Europe.
The wedding menu will be strictly vegetarian, as both families are strong believ3ers of Radha Soami Satsang Beas, and the guruji will also be attending the wedding.
