Mumbai: Anushka Sharma’s debut venture as producer is currently rattling rough waters at the Censor Board. The revising committee of the Censor Board reviewed the film again on Wednesday and suggested more cuts in some crucial scenes.
From the screening it has come to light that the scene in question was about honour killing. According to reports the specific scenes had a lot of violence and the committee has suggested that the producers tone it down a notch.
While some of the suggestions given by the revising committee were agreed upon, director Navdeep Singh had his own take to the violent scenes. He explained to them that they are important to the film and requested to not be given any cuts in those scenes.
