Mumbai: While many in the film industry have stood up for Deepika Padukone and have applauded her for telling Times of India to quit objectifying women and their bodies, the only one who has been mum on the entire issue is her ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor. And we know why.
A while back, when pictures of a bikini clad Katrina Kaif holidaying with boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor in Spain were published in the media, Katrina was very upset and lashed out at the media for publishing those images.
But Deepika felt Katrina was cribbing about nothing. “I don’t think we should blame anybody. If you are a star, you are a public figure. People will talk about you and you ought to be very careful.”
Since Deepika didn’t show any solidarity with Katrina and Ranbir, both have decided to return the favour.
