A 26-year-old Pakistan man plunged from a high bridge in Sharjah only to be hit by a car, the driver of which fled the scene. Police said the man suffered from serious injuries. Babar B. was fixing a billboard on top of the Caliphs Bridge in the northern emirate when he lost his balance and fell down on the road, where he was hit by a car.
“He is still in the intensive care unit as he suffered from fractures in various parts of his body…some of the fractures are serious as he fell from a high place and was hit by a vehicle,” said Dr Mahmoud Zaid Al Abidin, orthopedic consultant at Al Qassimi Hospital.
