CINCINNATI: Two-time winner Andy Murray booked a Cincinnati Masters quarter-final berth Thursday with a 6-2, 6-2 win over France’s Julien Benneteau.
The second-seeded Scot needed just 68 minutes to post the victory, wrapping it up with his sixth ace.
Murray, building up for the defence of his first Grand Slam title at the US Open in less than a fortnight, next faces either Tomas Berdych or Tommy Robredo.
