Ullal : One person was killed and another injured when the duo came in contact with live wire at Melangady on Tuesday, June 17.
The deceased was identified as Rashid (38) of Ullal Kodi while the injured was Jaleel from Manjanady.
On Tuesday rain water started gushing out from the terrace on first floor. As result Rashid went to the terrace along with Jaleel with the intent of fixing the problem. However as he bent to fix the pipe he lost his balance and fell on the pole. Though Jaleel tried to stop him his efforts went in vain. Rashid was electrocuted and Jaleel was also injured.
