BSK Managing team announces “Buntaayana 2019” on 18th October at the American United School Auditorium, Sabah Al Salem, from 3:00 pm onwards.
Over the years Buntaayana has been looked forward with great eager by not just BSK members but by the entire Tulunadu diaspora in Kuwait. Buntaayana truly promises a colorful evening of both cultural entertainment and Guest felicitation.
This year too we look forward towards every members support and announce Buntaayana with artists from Mangalore and guests from Mumbai and Oman. We would be introducing popular Actor & Bale Telipale fame comedian finalist Mr. Manju Rai Muloorand the new heart-throb young dynamic playback singer and Namma Super Singer finalist Mr. Nishan Rai to Kuwait audience.
Manju Rai Muloor began his career as a drama artist and has roared his talent and success to Coastalwood cinema in his 1st movie Rickshaw Driver, where he acted as a comedian as well a dialogue writer. In a short span he has acted over a dozen movie and played a hero role in the Tulu movie ‘My name is Annappa’, he has also acted in Kannada movie RatnaManjari and Pravesha. He has worked both as Associate and Assistant Director for Kannada Tele serials. He has directed more than 20 plays and acted in more than 50 Tulu plays. He has participated in famous Kannada reality show ‘Maja Bharartha. He is currently acting a comedian in ‘PudarBodchiUruBodchi’ under the Lahari team. This talented artist has a post graduation in Arts and graduate in Education and teaches as a professor in Sri Ramakrishna School, Mangalore. He has been awarded the Best Comedian Actor and won the Ideal State Level award, Runner-up award in the most popular comedy Bale Telipalle competition. Manju Rai as he is popularly known among his peers would be hosting Buntaayana 2019 with his wit and humor.
Mr. Nishan Rai Matanthabettu is a 19 year old dynamic singer who tasted success at a young age, he has sung in many Zee Kannada program and has been appreciated by many prominent judges during his participation in Namma Super Singer, he was one of the finalist. He was one of the Top 10 contestants in Zee Kannada SaReGaMaPa Lil Champs Season 9. He has been a playback singer in movies like KattapadiKattapa, Chandanvan (Gandhadhakud I) and KudhkanaMadime.
Nishan Rai is pursuing his CA (Inter) along with Bcom in Trisha College of Commerce and Management, Mangaluru. He has been in the past performed Internationally at Qatar, Bahrain, Dubai and Abu Dhabi along with prestigious Indian stages like HampiUtsava, KumtaUtsava, Kannada SaahithyaSammelana in Delh, MysuruBalaDasara, LakkundiUtsava among the few. He started his musical journey at the age of 4 and is being trained in Hindustani music by Vidhwaan Shri Madhava Bhat. He has done many cover version in different languages and his work is highly appreciated by millions of YouTube viewers. This young boy is a bundle of talent, he is also a dancer and a trained Keyboardist. We look forward to see and hear him rock the stage during Buntaayana 2019 with his melodious songs.
The program will be graced by two prominent personalities from the Bunts business community, Sri Sashidhar Shetty (Abeer Group) from Oman and Sri. Vivek B. Shetty (Viswaat Chemical Ltd.) from Mumbai.
Buntaayana can’t be conclusive without the involvement of our own BSK members. Under the guidance and direction of Shri.Sathisha Acharya, BSK members for the 1st time are showcasing the historical classic “Sri RamanaDharmanade”. The script and lyrics are written by Shri ParamanandaSalian; Choreography by VidhushiShanthalaSathisha and the songs are rendered by Shri JagadeeshPuttur.
