Indore: Police have arrested a woman aged 55 years who used to make her grandson carry out thefts at big and expensive hotels where marriage used to take place. Police have seized valuables worth Rs.6 lakh from them. The duo have confessed stealing the cash from hotel ‘Fortune Landmark’ where a ring ceremony was going on.
According to Vijay Nagar CSP K.K.Sharma, the case was registered when Kriti Khandelwal lodged a complaint about her missing bag from the party place of Fortune landmark hotel. She had carried diamond worth Rs. 3000, Iphone along with one smart phone, 60 US dollar and Cash worth Rs. 13,000. The bag consisted valuables worth Rs. 6 lakhs.
When the team of (TIE) Chatrapal Singh Solanki watched the CCTV footage they came to know that the bag was stolen by a child.
Police arrested the duo with the help of mobile location app and have seized the entire valuable looted by them. Jamnabhai, the accused used to send her 11 year old grandson to carry out the theft at big hotels.
The kid use to target ladies carrying purse loaded with cash and valuables. The accused was a resident of Gram Kadiya.
