India stunned World No.1 and reigning Olympic champions Germany 5-4 in a 5-8 position playoff of the Hockey World League Final at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium here Friday.
Rupinder Singh converted a last minute penalty corner to score the winning goal after India made a comeback from being 1-3 down at halftime. Rupinder scored two while Mandeep Singh was named Man of the Match for scoring a hat-trick for the hosts.
