The Lokayukta police on Tuesday conducted searches in 14 premises of seven government officials in eight districts.
The searches were conducted in Bangalore, Mysore, Chitradurga, Tumkur, Kolar, Ramanagaram, Shimoga and Yadgir.

Additional Director-General of Police (Lokayukta) H.N. Satyanarayana Rao said illegal assets worth Rs. 9.7 crore were detected during the searches.
Cases under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, were registered against the seven officials.
