Bangalore: A woman who abetted her husband to rape their neighbour to derive pleasure watching the act, has been arrested following a complaint filed by the victim with Gangammanagudi police.
The two are lodged in Parappana Agrahara prison. The arrested Dileep, 27, a cable operator, and his wife Asha, 25, who was addicted to pornography, had urged the victim, her neighbour, to sleep with her husband. The victim, sensing something wrong, began ignoring her.
However, last month, Asha tricked the victim into her house, and Dileep raped her twice in the presence of his wife.
After the act, the couple threatened to kill the victim’s husband and child if she disclosed the incident to anybody, the police said. The victim, out of fear, had kept quiet.
But when Asha approached the victim again on August 10, she informed her husband and they lodged a police complaint the next day.
The police picked up the couple for questioning and they confessed to the crime.
