Monthlong protests by the candidates of 2011 Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) final list, will end on August 20. The candidates are set to approach the judiciary for justice. Candidates have been on dharna for the past 29 days at Freedom Park here amid police security. Political parties that stood by them will support candidates in the legal battle against the Karnataka government. It has also been decided to hold a massive rally on August 21 to urge the government to roll back its decision and extend justice to 362 candidates, who have become victims of the scrapping of the list. Janata Dal (Secular) leader H.D. Kumaraswamy said: “Our intention is to get justice to candidates, not to politicise the issue.”
