A 28-year-old South African national, who had come to the city on business a few days ago, died after he slipped from the terrace of a three-storey building in Kothanur on Sunday.
The deceased, Nthsve Obi, was staying with friends. According to the police, around 11 p.m., Obi went to the terrace to party with his friends. While trying to sit on a parapet wall, he lost balance and fell. “We are questioning his roommates. His documents will be scrutinised to ascertain the purpose of his visit,” the police said.
