Hosadurga (Chitradurga dist), August 5, 2013 ; As many as 20 students fell ill after drinking milk supplied under the ‘Ksheera Bhagya’ scheme at Government Higher Primary School at Hunavinodu in the taluk on Monday.
Students complained of stomachache and were rushed to a hospital.
Upon receiving information, block education officer C M Thippeswamy visited the hospital to enquire about the health of the students.
However, he told reporters that the students were healthy and that they had not been affected due to the consumption of milk.
There is no need for parents to be concerned about
the health of their children, he said.
