Mangalore, September 1: On Sunday evening, the idol of lord Ganesh at the 45th public Ganeshotsava celebration was carried in a grand procession which marked the end of fest.
In this procession; drummers, music of trumpets and the famous Huli Vesha, strange acts and variety of tablos had participated. Attractive crackers burst throughout the way, was a special attraction.
Sunday evening, after performing the Maha Pooja,The procession of the deity began from Kulshekar Chowki proceded towards Kaikamba,Bikarnakatte,Nanthoor till Padavu School and returned back via the same route to Kudupu temple.A special pooja was performed to the deity, the idol was disbanded in the pond at kudupu Temple.
