Mangalore, August 14, 2014: An incident is reported to have occurred in an apartment at Hoige Bail, Urva Store where the entire family is no more. On Thursday morning, this incident has come to light but it is suspected that they might have died two days ago.
It is learnt that a family of three members have comitted suicide and was residing in Phalguni Apartment. The dead bodies of the father, mother and a girl child is found in the morning. They are identified as Shailesh (39), his wife Savitha and their daughter Vidhyalaxmi (10). Vidyalakshmi was a class 5 student of Canara School. The bodies of the mother and child were found in the bed room.Earlier the family had been residing at Boloor.
It is suspected that the Savitha might have consumed poison after administering the same to the child where as Shailesh was found clinging to the fan.
It is said that the security guard at their apartment grew suspicious as none of the residents ventured out of their house for the past two days. When he went on a check, since no one answered the door; he alerted the neighbours. When the door was finally opened forcefully, all three were found dead. But the television was on. Neighbours said that they were last seen on Tuesday August 12th.
Shailesh left behind a four-page death note where he has stated that this extreme step has been taken by him and his wife due to financial loss. He was running Akshata finance firm and he suffered huge losses since his partners left the firm.
The bodies were sent for post-mortem.Cirlce inspector Ramachandra Maledevar and the Urwa cops arrived at the spot. A case has been filed and further investigations are in progress. Futher information is yet to be tracked.
