Mangalore, August 13, 2014: On August 12th, addressing the Haj Volunteers, the Haj and Information department Minister’s PS Ajaz Ahammed stated that in total 844 persons will depart from Mangalore International Airport on a Haj pilgrimage.
Piligrims will be educated about the rules to be followed in Mecca and Madina and even the guidelines to filie a complaint on the loss of luggage. They will also be trained to tackle the problems they face while travelling, he added.
For two days, the training will be conducted in Mangalore. The pilgrims face inconvenience after losing the luggage. So, the pigrims should label their luggages with complete details, he added. Karnataka Wakf Board CEO Meer Anees Ahammed also delivered his speech and matters were made clear to the participants.
