Sullia, Aug 04: In a tragic accident, a father and son lost their life when their bike collided with a KSRTC bus at Panjikallu curve on the Jalsur-Kasargod Highway on August 03, Sunday evening.
Chandroji (50) and his son Jithendra (24) are the deceased persons who died on the spot. Jithendra was riding the bike and his father was on the pillion. The two were returning home after purchasing meat at Jalsur when the KSRTC bus operating on the Kasargod-Sullia-Subrahmanya-Dharmasthala route hit them.
Traffic was disrupted on the highway for over two hours following the accident. a case has been registered by the police.
