Hanging bridge to come up at Pavoor-Uliya area: U.T. Khader

Mangalore, July 29: State Minister for Health and Family Welfare U.T. Khader stated that a hanging bridge will be constructed in Pavoor-Uliya area in Ullal and a sum of Rs 3 crores has been already released for the purpose, the construction work will begin soon. He was speaking to reporters at a press meet here on Tuesday July 29.

Talking about the assembly, he said, “The Assembly session was carried out smoothly for a month but at the final stage opposition parties created problems and did not allow us to have discussion on various important issues.”
“The CM had assured of all kinds of probe against Arkavathi Denotification issue but still opposition did not care to listen to us. During question hour speaker had promised of giving opportunity to discuss the matter. But the opposition created unnecessary problems in the assembly,” he said.

Referring to the several infant death cases in the state, he said awareness will be created by the health department on the causes of infant deaths. Khader informed that the awareness drive will be started in Kadugollanahalli in Bangalore.
