Bajpe, July 29: A teenager died when the bike he was riding was hit by a tipper at Bajpe check post at around 11:30 am.
The boy identified as Mohammed Zakir (17) is a resident of Karmbar, in Kenjar village, studying in second PU.
The mishap occurred when the tipper collided with the bike and caused the boy to fall on the road, unable to gain control, the tyre of the tipper went over his head and he died on the spot.
Sources said that, Zakir was returning home after visiting his relatives on account of Eid while the incident occurred.
A complaint has been filed at the Bajpe police station and the tipper driver has been arrested.
