Mangalore, July 29: A programme was organised by Nagarika Sanmana Samithi at the Sanghaniketan in the city on July 28, Monday evening, in which a civic reception was conferred on Padmanabha Acharya, the newly appointed Governor of Nagaland. Mr. Acharya originally hails from Udupi.
Both the governor and his wife were warmly felicitated at the function held under the presidentship of N Vinay Hegde, Chancellor of Nitte University.
