Mangalore, Feb 18: A peepal tree rolled over a house completely damaging the tiled roof of the house located at Gujjarakere near Jeppinamogaru on February 18, Tuesday.
The house belonged to Sudhaker Shetty, an autorickshaw driver by profession.
The incident occurred at around 4.30 am, when the entire family was fast asleep. Luckily, the family members were left unhurt, as they moved out immediately.
The loss has been estimated at Rs 4 lakhs.
