Udupi, Feb 11: India’s leading businessman and Chairman Emeritus of the Tata Group, Ratan Tata visited Udupi and inaugurated the welcome arch of Puttige Mutt on Feb 10, Monday.
After accepting an invitation from Sri Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji of Puttige Mutt, Mr Ratan Tata visited Udupi and expressed his happiness to visit the Temple town and seek the blessings of Lord Krishna.
Speaking on the occasion, Sri Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji urged the younger generation to get inspiration from the leading businessman and follow his footstep valuing his achievements.
Manipal Group president Dr Ramdas Pai, Alva’s Education Foundation Chairman Dr Mohan Alva and Titan Group president Bhasker were present.
