Mangalore, Feb 7: The GSB community celebrates the ’Okuli’ or festival of colors with full gaiety at surroundings of Sri Venkataramana Temple, Carstreet on Feb 7, Friday.
The revelers moved around beating drums, singing, dancing and splashing colours at each other’s.
Young people dance to the loud music as Lord Venkatramana and Goddess Padmavathi are on the first journey of their wedded life.
Thousands of GSB’s friends flocked at Car Street and the surrounding areas, dancing on the streets and spraying coloured water on each other giving a colourful end six day annual Car festival of the Venkatrama temple.
