All credit for increasing number of LPG Cylinders cap goes to Modi: Venkaiah Naidu

Mangalore, Jan 31: MP and former BJP National President M Venkaiah Naidu said that Narendra Modi must be given credit for the increasing number of cylinder cap to 12 as per the decision of Congress Government.

Addressing the press meet held at Circuit House on Jan 31, Friday, he said that with the fear of losing the LS Poll, the congress government is using last minute tactics to appease the voters.

He also said that it was the Oil Minister M Veerappa Moily who had announced that increasing the cylinder cap was not good for the fiscal health, then how the decision changes, during the election time.

The congress government had brought down the number of LPG to six, and then increased to nine and now all of sudden raised to 12. If they had to increase the LPG cylinders, if this is not an election tactics, what else it can be called, he said.

It was the same government which had assured to implement women reservation bill, but even after ten years in power, but nothing has been done so far. Where the promise of bringing back the black money is stashed in foreign countries disappeared, he asked.

Commenting on the AAP, Naidu said that Aam Aadmi is getting exposed by its own members. Kejriwal who had promised on his children of not supporting the congress party is now backing out.

As a part of Sangh Parivar from 47 years, it is clearly stated that Sangh Parivar may suggest or advice  the names of candidates but do not have the right to take decision and it is done only by BJP.

Further speaking on his programme schedule, he said that he is in charge of six programmes to be held for campaigning Narendra Modi, conducting Lok Sabha convention in 542 constituencies, meeting for BJP friends, meeting with overseas friends of BJP and media campaign which comprises campaigning through SMS, twitter and facebook. The BJP will declare the lists of candidates in the second week of February.

MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, MLC Monappa Bhandary, district president Prathap Simha Nayak and former MLA Nagraj Shetty were present.
