Addressed the gathering at the awarding ceremony of Malpe Shankaranarayana Samaga Award organized by Kalkura Prathistana atTown Hall on Wednesday Oct. 23 he said and also he gave the award to the famous Yakshagana artist Dr. Kolyuru Ramachandra Rao.
After receiving the award Ramachandra Rao said that one should have dignity to receive the Samaga award. I don’t know am I eligible for this award but now receiving this award, who is the otientalist of Yakshgana is really made my life worth he added.
The former president of Yakshgana Accademy Pro. M.L Samaga, Janardhana Hande of Kalkura Prathistana, Pradeep Kumar Kalkura the president of Kalkura Prathistana, Sudhakar Rao Pejavar and others were present. Seraje Gopalakrishna Bhat welcomed. Kadri Navaneeth Shetty proposed vote of thanks.
