Mumbai: The commemoration programme of Kateel Gopalakrishna Asranna was celebrated by the Kateel Gopalakrishna Asranna Club members by the guidance of Padmanabha Kateel at Bhantara Bhavana UAE on Sept 22.
The Mumbai Bunts committee president C.A. Shankar B presided over the function. In his presidential address, talking about Yakshagana he said that the bunt’s committee always gives encouragement to the Yakshagana which gives religious education to us.
Lakshmi Narayana Assranna gave blessings and said that the honor, the name which I got today all credit goes to Kateel Gopalakrishna Asranna.
Suvarna Baba, Global bunts committee vice president Ikala Harish Shetty, Mumbai Bunts Committee v. President Karneere Vishwanath Shetty, Chandrahas M Rai, Babu N Shetty, Raj Kumar, Daya Kirodian, Surendra Kumar Hegde, Journalist Chandrashekar Paledthi, Vishwanath Shetty, Ikala Shetty, Ashok Shetty, Prabhakara Suvarna Dubai, Raghu P Shetty, and other members of committee were present.
Yakshagana artist Sadashiva Shettygar, Mundaje Sadashiva Shetty, bhagavatha Raghavendra Acharya, Jayaprakash Nidwannaya, Permude Jayaprakash hetty, Sarapadi Ashok Shetty, Kateel Sadananda Shetty, Monappa, Madhava Nayak and Prabhakar Suvarna Dubbai and convener of Praksh M shetty were facilitated by the committee.
