Karsargod, Sep 15: A stay order was passed by the court on the marriage of a minor girl in kanhangad .
The girl was residing in Trikaripuara Nagakaru in a rent house and decended from a poor family. The wedding was fixed to a 41 year old man residing in Talliparamba.
The information regarding the wedding was given by Anganvadi teachers , they also helped in the investiagtion by providing documents such as bith certificate. Neeleshwari Child Helpline Co-ordinator, Ms.Asha conducted the investigation
Due to the efforts of the Child welfare and Court the wedding was prevented.
