Mangaluru, September 24: In order to clarify the doubts regarding Yettinahole Drinking water Project, I have urged the Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to convene a meeting within a week, informed Former Central Minister Oscar Fernandes.
Addressing a press meet at Pilikula on Wednesday, September 23rd; he said that it has been suggested to convene a meeting to clear off the doubts of the people regarding the Yettinahole project and the CM has consented for this.
Two factors are found in the Yettinahole project. It is said scam has taken place in the project and the other one is that adverse effects from the implementation of the projects. The information on these aspects will be collected and if any discrepancy is found, it will be informed to the government and also the high command will be directed to take appropriate actions, informed Oscar Fernandes.
Discussions will also be held on further strengthening the party for the upcoming taluk panchayat elections and zilla panchayat elections, he said.
District incharge Minister B Ramanath Rai, Minister for youth empowerment and sports, and fisheries K Abhayachandra Jain, MUDA Chairman Ibrahim Kodijal were present among others.
