Mangaluru, August 20: In connection to murder attempt on owner of a bakery named Abdul Salam, at Mastikatte by a gang on August 8th, Ullal police have arrested two more men including the main accused.
Main accused Fayaz (29), resident of Jamal Quarters in Manchila, and Ummer Naufal (26) are the newly arrested persons.
On August 11th, the police had arrested Arfan alias Arfa, Saifullasan alias Saifu, and Hanif alias Ibrahim. With this, in total five members have been arrested pertained to this case.
Abdul Salam, who suffered deep injuries in this incident, had been admitted into a private hospital in the city.
It is gathered that Fayaz, faces 14 cases in Ullal station, out of which he has been absolved in two. He is an accused in the murders of auto rickshaw driver Lancy of Babbukatte and manager of Kanchan Textiles in Mangaluru, it is learnt.
It is said that Abdul Salam, had filed police complaint against Fayaz and his accomplices for creating nuisance in front of his shop. Angered at this, Fayaz and his team had attacked on Abdul Salam, it is learnt.
