Mangaluru August 18th: 40 participants representing 9 countries U.K, U.S.A, New Zealand, Australia, Germany, Malaysia, Spain, Barbados, and Canada are looking for a life time experience. They will be riding 16 Rickshaws and travelling from Mumbai to Chennai covering 2000 kms which is a adventurous study tour studying Indian art, culture, tradition.
The Rally is sponsored by Madras RT 42. The rickshaws will reach Mangaluru Today on 18th august at D.K.Z.P School Mallikatte Mangaluru.
They were welcomed by the office Bearers of the Mangalore Round Table 115 and an interaction will be held with them and to exchange their views. All the teams will be flagged off at 09.30 am by MRT 115 Member Deepak Ramani (98440 44094) for their onward Journey to Chennai via Mysore, Vellore.
The participants, during their journey will be making a difference in the lives of the underprivileged by raising funds for the Round Table National project “FREEDOM THROUGH EDUCATION” in pursuit of educating poor rural Children which is a noble cause.
