Mangaluru, July 14: To eliminate the differences that arise due to the communal differences, such Iftar parties are helpful in developing peace and harmony in the society, said former Minister Vijay Kumar Shetty.
He was speaking after participating as the guest at the “Sauharda Ifthar Koota” held at the premises of Bhagya Jyothi Firm. The event was organized under the aegis of newly instituted “True Citizen” firm at Koncahdi which aims at social service uniting people from all sector of society. The peoples trust and love are priceless compared to the materialistic luxuries. The youth must be motivated by organizing such get-together parties with participation of people from all sectors. The youth must participate in such programs and create a healthy society, he said.
He lauded “True Citizen” organization and said, the youth with aim of social service has instituted this firm. He wished well and said, let the organization serve the society overcoming the differences of religion, caste, and clan.
The guests, Laxman Devadiga, owner of Bhagya Jyothi industries, Victor Koreya-social server, Thammanna Shetty- producer of “Kanasu’ movie, entrepreneur Harryes, and others spoke about Ramzan festival and conveyed wishes to all forth coming festivities of all religions including Ramzan.
