Mangaluru, July 13: The officials of Customs at the Mangalore International Airport here have seized concealed gold of weight 464 grams, valued at Rs 12,20,320 from a passenger on Sunday, July 12th.
The passenger identified as Mohammed Mogral, resident of ‘Thaiba Manzil’, TVS road, Mogral post, Kasargod district, Kerala state arrived at Mangalore through the Air India flight from Abu Dhabi in the morning of Sunday.
The passenger had concealed the gold in the form of washer attached to the inner lining of a Grey coloured stroller bag.
Further investigations are in progress, stated a media release.
