Leopard rescued from well by forest officials.

Mangaluru, July 7: Forest officials rescued a leopard which had accidentally fallen into a open well at Kempugudde in Moodumarnadu village near here on the morning of Monday July 6th.

A leopard had fallen into a well belonging to Raghu Poojarty from Moodumarnadu. The family heard a loud sound of a huge object falling into the well. When they observed the well, they saw a leopard inside which was struggling to come out.

The family immediately conveyed information to the police, forest officials, and president of Padumarnadu gram panchayat, Srinath Suvarna.

Forest officials, with the help of the locals, rescued the leopard.

Deputy range forest officer, Prashant, led by range forest officer, G D Dinesh, the officials undertook the operation.
