Mangaluru, July 7: The CCB police have arrested two criminals who were involved in cases of chain snatching and murder attempt.
The arrested are identified as Rahim alias Chappe Thanni Rahim (39) of Bengre and Muneer (21) of Shanthigudde in Bajpe.
The duos were engaged in snatching chains from the neck of woman at various places of the city.
Police arrested Muneer near KSRTC bus stand in the city who was involved in chain snatching cases at Velencia, Talapady and Pajeer.
The CCB police had already arrested Habeeb Hassan alias Habeeb, an associate of Muneer. Muneer was involved in many cases of chain theft.
Rahim had stabbed Mohan alias Tikki Mohan near Lady Groschen hospital here on May 24th and had absconded. He was also involved in ganja sale and faces charges against this.
