Managaluru, June 11: In relation to the suicide case of a minor girl Jyothi Moolya (17) of Krishnanagar in Kumpala, on June 10th, cops have arrested Praveen Saliyan, a constable at Pandeshwar police station on the charges of threatening the girl.
The deceased girl in had stated in her death note that she had developed friendship with Praveen through facebook and that he used to threaten her, blackmail her and demanded cash and gold. She had also stated in the death note that a sense of frustration over this matter drove her to take the extreme step.
Praveen was produced in the JMFC court and was later remanded to 15 days of judicial custody.
