Minister Nirmala Sitharaman expected at Mangaluru to present a talk on “Commerce Policy For Future India”.

Mangaluru, January 1: Nirmala Sitharaman, Minister of state for commerce and industry will visit the city to attend a seminar at Sangha Niketan on January 3rd organized by Mangaluru Initiative for Nationalist Dialogue (Mind).

Sunil Achar, president of Citizens’ Council addressing a press meet in the city on Thursday January 1st said, after being chosen as the union minister, it is her first visit to Mangaluru. Her achievements as a minister for the past 6 months have drawn the attention of economic policy makers over the globe.

Amid international pressures in the international forum on GATT agreement, she had made clear that the assistance provided to farmers cannot be withdrawn for which she received admiration.

Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will give a lecture on “Commerce policy for the future India”.
