Surat: Another shocking video of Gujarat police conducting an anti-terror mock drill showing dummy militants wearing skull caps has surfaced.

The latest video shot at Narmada dam site in Kevadia area of Narmada district, stereotyping a particular community, shows policemen holding the dummy terrorists who shouted slogans “take our lives, if you want. Islam Zindabad”.

According to reports, Narmada Superintendent of Police Jaypalsinh Rathore said an inquiry will be conducted into the issue.

A similar exercise was conducted in Surat on December 29 projecting terrorists as Muslims. The entire episode had generated controversy and invited criticism from all quarters.

Speaking exclusively to the Zee Media, the Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel said that  linking religion with terrorism is wring but was quick to say that issue has been resolved and the matter should be put to rest now.

However, the chief minister said that no action will be taken as it was a mistake and had been rectified.

The Congress party attacked the Gujarat government when the incident came to light and termed it as an administrative failure.
