New Delhi,Dec.27: Common Admission Test (CAT) 2014 results will be declared today at 7pm. After lot of glitches the result will be declared on December 27 on the official website of CAT. The CAT 2014 exams were held on November 16 and 22. Candidates can check for the CAT 2014 results at iimcat.ac.in website. The results took so long to be declared so as to make it glitch free and the process to be kept transparent to ensure zero error. Dr Rohit Kapoor Convener CAT 2014 and Faculty IIM Indore said, “On 27th Dec, 2014 evening, we are going to release the results for the candidates.” Conveying his blessings to CAT 2014 test takers Dr Rohit Kapoor further said “My best wishes for the candidates in advance”.
Around 1.70 lakh candidates took up the exam and will be accessing the official CAT website today, which may lead to high traffic around 7pm on the official website and slow access. But Dr Rohit Kapoor has claimed that all measures have been taken so that the candidates accessing the siote may not face any problem. But the technical glitch due to heavy rush on the CAT 2014 website may lead to a longer time to access the site.
CAT 2014 test takers will be allowed to have access to the result only with their registered CAT 2014 ID and password. With finally the time declared the candidates can view and down load the result at the designated hour today at 7pm.
Candidates aspiring to appear for CAT 2014 could also apply for the six new Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) (outside the existing 13), which is expected to be set up in Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar, Odisha, Himachal Pradesh and Punjab.
