Mumbai: Sanjay Gupta’s much anticipated film ‘Jazbaa’ is making headlines for all the right reasons. Needless to say that the public appreciation it has garnered even before the promotions of the film, shows the excitement of masses regarding the release.
The first look of Irrfan Khan sees the veteran actor in a leather jacket teamed up with dashing glares. Something that remains same in all the pictures released is the city skyline. However, there is a brief resemblance of the actor with Priyanka Chopra’s ‘Quantico’ look. Don’t you think?
Speaking to the media, Irrfan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan both have expressed their excitement to work on this project. Where on one side Irrfan revealed that he signed ‘Jazbaa’ for the former Miss World, Aishwarya on the other hand gave us a sneak peek into the plot of the film. “When Sanjay makes a story on a single mother ‘a criminal lawyer’ whose daughter gets kidnapped and she goes through trying circumstances, it’s interesting to see how he is going to tell the story. When I came on board, I also had the same question. So I keep teasing him saying that ‘October mein, it’s not just you, but even I am excited to see how the film eventually looks’. So I am equally curious and excited to see Sanjay Gupta’s Jazbaa!” she said.
The film is slated to hit the theatres on October 9.
