Delhi girl Koyal Rana had managed to reach the top 10 bracket
India’s Koyal Rana failed to make it the top five of the Miss World 2014 pageant.
Delhi girl Koyal, 21, had managed to reach the top 10 bracket.
She also won the Best Designer award and shared the “Beauty With A Purpose” title with Miss Kenya, Miss Guyana, Miss Brazil and Miss Indonesia.
Contestants from 121 countries participated in the international pageant, which also honoured India’s Aishwarya Rai, who was crowned Miss World 1994.
At the beginning of the pageant, Koyal had also performed to the song Dola Re Dola, which featured Aishwarya and Madhuri Dixit in the film Devdas.
Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra was the last Indian to win Miss World in 2000.
Miss South Africa Rolene Strauss was crowned the new Miss World in London on December 14.
