Mangalore, Dec. 2: Lakumi Cine creations Mangalore’s held its Muhurtha of the first film “Ekka Saka” at Vajradehi Mata Gurupur on Sunday, Dec. 1.
The seer of Vajradehi Mata Sri. Rajashekharananda Swamiji inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp.
The chief guest of the programme Mr.Harish Sherigar, the businessman of Dubai and the singer clapped for the movie. In his speech he said that, “These days the Tulu films are losing their originality and so fails to attract the viewers.” “In making a good tulu movie it should come out from the drama touch,” he added.
If a film created in its own way then only it receives success. While watching the spirit of Ekkasaka team I feel that the film will achieve a great success. He wished the whole team saying the film should create history through its success. He also said that he would extend full support for the movie specially in Dubai.
The former presidents of Tulu Sahitya Academy Seetharam Kulal, Umanath Kotyan and businessman Shekhar Shetty Tenjemane were the chief guests.
“Lakumi team is encouraging the artists and promoting the art, this team headed by Lion Kishore D are contributing a lot to the Tulu theatre. The film Ekka saka will be the first gift to Tulu film industry by the Lakumi team and I wish this film should complete 200 days and create a history in Tulu film industry said,” Setharam Kulal.
The producer of the film Ln. Kishore D Shetty said that to produce any good quality movie an experienced team is required and we are all set with a well versed Team. He also requested full support from all in making of this movie.
The co-producer of the film Girish Shetty, Chandrahas Shetty and the star of the movie Hitesh Naik and Sonal Padil were present at the occasion.
The director K. Suraj, artists Bhojaraj Vamanjuru, Aravind Bolar, Sathish Bandale, Ravi Surathkal were present.
Tulu theatre artist and Kannada serial Bhale Basava famed Shobharaj delivered the preliminary address. The program was compared by Navin Shetty Alake.
Ekkasaka: a film of happiness and sorrow:
“To enriching the Tulu film industry in Tulu Theatre we have planned to make this movie. The movie has a well written script and a intense story line. Hero Hitesh Naik and heroine Sonal Padil are making their debut entry into the film industry. Both are very talented and were selected keeping in mind the character of the movie. Other than that, various other Tulu Theatre comedy actors will also be acting in this movie.
Director Suraj K has already worked as a associate with famous director. Music director Ravi Basrur and camera man Navin Kerala all are well experienced and very talented all this ensures that the film will achieve great success”, said Kishore Shetty.
Dubai Business man and very popular singer Harish Sherigar will be singing the title song for this movie and also give his guest appearance with Chitaranjan Poojary (Chitta).
